Good science requires good communcation.

There is a fine art to translating scientific jargon into understandable terms, while maintaining the integrity of the research – that’s where I can help. I specialize in articulating complex ideas.

I’m an early career researcher and scientific writer. I’m qualified with a Master’s of Science (Ecology & Biodiversity), having investigated urban forest restoration impacts on soil microbial communities.

Scientific writing

I have completed scientific writing for DairyNZ, MitoQ Limited, Kliptank™, and Insight Endometriosis; worked as the editor for Nexus, the University of Waikato student magazine; and I’ve completed microscopy work with the University of Waikato in macrofauna and mesofauna identification.

I’m a 2022/23 Sir Peter Blake Ambassador for NIWA, a 2021 3-Minute Thesis Master’s competition national runner-up, and have been the fortunate recipient of many scholarships attesting to my work.
